Beatrice Rose Drinkwater Rudolph

Beatrice Rose Drinkwater Rudolph, 94, was born in Dinwiddie, Va on December 27, 1929. She passed away at her home in Mechanicsville, VA on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Bea as she was known by most was preceded in death by her parents Lottie Walker Johnson and Luther Traylor Drinkwater, her husband of 67 years, Raymond L. Rudolph, Sr.;daughter, Debra "DJ" Woodson Shiflett; and granddaughter, Jennifer Rudolph White. She is survived by one son, Raymond L. Rudolph , Jr. (Brenda); daughters Linda Buchanan (James), Pamela Rudolph (Charlie Childress) and Bonny Campbell. She is also survived by three granddaughters, five grandsons, six great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons. Bea was a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Post 144 and a life member of the VFW 9808. She had been employed by A&P as a meat cutter then drove for Henrico County Public School, retiring after 23 years from the school bus. Relatives and friends are invited to Bea's visitation at Woody Funeral Home- Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA on Monday, May 20 from 5-7 PM and where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 12 PM.
