Marion David Keeling

Marion David Keeling, 56, of Waco passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas, with Reverend Bruce E. Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at the funeral home.

Mr. Keeling was born on June 4, 1962 to Marion Keeling and Evelyn Lou May, in Mansfield, Missouri, was a 1980 graduate from Mansfield High School, attended Southwest Baptist University from 1981-1982, Baylor University from1982-1983, graduated New York University in 1989, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and graduated Southwest Missouri State University in 1991, with a Masters in Counseling. Marion was licensed as a Southern Baptist Minister at age 14 and ordained at age 20, by Pecan Grove Baptist Church, where he ministered in 1982-1983. He served in the Army from July 1983 until October 1999. His biggest accomplishment in life was his marriage to Karen on March 4, 1983 in McGregor, Texas.

Preceding him in death was his father, Marion Keeling, and sister, Amy Keeling.

David is survived by his wife, Karen Elaine Keeling; mother, Evelyn Lou Keeling; sisters, Cindy Young and husband, Ronnie, Timbo Young, Liz Street and husband, Perry, Laura Johnson, Lindy Long and husband, Michael; nieces, Jocelynne Mays, Amanda McVay, Jessica Ramsey and husband, Will; nephews, Jeremy Young and wife, Maria Zuniga, Jason Young and wife, Sara, Damon Young and wife, Michelle, Jared Young, Josh Street, Charles Schneider, Zach Maxie; special friends, Roger and Veronica Dorch and daughters, Dena and Vicky, Yuriy and Maryna Gaponov and children, Sophia and Valik; and Michael and Kristina Clevenger and their son, Tristan.
