Wayne E. Walker

Mr. Wayne E. Walker, age 72 of Stockbridge, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019, loving husband of 52 years to Joan Gratton Walker. He was born in Pinesville, WV to the late Virgil and Margaret Walker. In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by his aunt: Mildred Browning of Michigan; cousins: Richard Browning of Michigan and Sandy (Dave) Stafford of South Carolina. He is predeceased by his brother: Vern Walker. Wayne was a proud Army veteran, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. The family will receive friends at Haisten Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
