Tom Moreland, age 64, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1960 in Charleston, SC to the late Gordon and Carole Moreland. Tom was also preceded in death by his brother, Tim. He enjoyed cruises, college football, especially University of Kentucky, basketball, football and collecting Kentucky Derby glasses. Tom attended Eastern Kentucky University and Carlisle Christian Church. He was an educator, real estate broker and a Chick-fil-A leadership mentor. Mr. Moreland is survived by his wife, Terri Moreland, sons Alan Drummond of Statesboro, GA and Andrew Moreland of McDonough, GA, one sister Jean Moreland Dunn of Carlisle, KY, his aunt Faye McFarland of Carlisle, KY, one sister-in-law, Tara (Louie) Ingle of Avondale Estates, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253.
