Born June 10, 1943 in Lancaster, OH, she grew up in Hapeville, GA and later in life moved to Hampton, GA. She was a dedicated wife to her late husband, James Pierce, and a devoted mother to her children- Lisa, Lori, and Eric.
Pat began her career as a beautician before transitioning to roles at Richway and retiring from Macy's. Beyond her work life, she cherished her role within her family. Pat's home was often filled with the aroma of her famous meatloaf, banana pudding and other home cooked meals. Everyone loved to come over and have dinner. She looked forward to getting her hair done and nails. She also had a great love of pets, especially Taylor, whom she missed dearly. She also loved to go to Waffle House and the wait staff loved her.
Her love for the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves were unparalleled. She never missed a game on TV, celebrating every win with the same vigor. Pat also found great joy in movie trivia, often dazzling friends and family with her knowledge of old TV shows and films. There was not an actor or actress she didn’t know.
Pat was a woman of faith, regularly watching her favorite preachers on TV and sustaining herself through prayer. Her love and compassion extended to all who knew her. She always had a way of making people laugh. Her caregivers loved her and she was very appreciative of all who cared for her in the past couple of years.
She leaves behind a family that will miss her so much: daughters, Lisa Beveridge (Allen) of Marietta, GA, Lori Kennington of Smyrna, GA; son, Eric Carvelli (Natascha) of Yelm, WA; stepdaughter, Donna Thornton (Norris) of The Woodlands, TX; and granddaughter, Sarah Beveridge of Marietta, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her spouse, James O. Pierce; her parents, Violet C. and James C. Goley; brother, Ronnie Clarke; sister, Anita Hall.
