Kathy King Sexton, age 52, of McDonough, GA passed away November 10, 2018. Kathy was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She drove a school bus for the Henry County School System. Kathy was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, yard work, traveling, and her animals.
Survivors are her sons; Matt Sexton (Kayla) of McDonough and Blake Sexton of McDonough; grandchildren Hayley and Beau Sexton of McDonough; mother, Catherine Annette King of Blue Ridge, GA; significant other, Barry Carter of McDonough; sister, Sharon Parr (Lewis) of Commerce; brother, Ray King Jr., (Ricka) of Blue Ridge, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Arnold King Sr.
A memorial service for Kathy will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Ayers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emory Windship Cancer Institute - John's Creek Chapter.
