For sure, this further instilled my love of nature and environmental education. We were kindred spirits together. Seriously, the best childhood memories being your neighbor for so many years!

For all my family impacted by your passing, my heart is with you and I'm sending all the love across the miles. Big, healing, heartfelt hugs! For all Uncle Jimmy's friends, thank you so very much for taking the time to post and share your sweet memories and the impact Jimmy had on your lives too. It is so comforting and touching to hear and be reminded of how love transcends all.

I will always miss you. Even though I didn’t know you in what they call “real life“, I feel like I knew you very well I enjoyed so much all the time that we spent in Spaces together. I know you are in a better place now. But I wish you were still in this bad place so that we could all talk to you and listen to you as you told your stories and played your music. You had a way about you that was so engaging and so interesting. No one could tell a story like you could painting a picture of every little detail with your words. You were always in Danny’s space usually as my cohost we would try to keep Danny awake. You were always so funny.  Thank you for all the time you spent trying to help me with my computer learning how to play music on it which I never really was successful at, but still you tried.  
My heart truly goes out to your wife, Diane, and your son. I know they are going to miss you terribly and I hope they will always know how much you loved them and protected them. 
You’re probably laughing up in heaven because you always managed to find humor in every situation. 
So goodbye for now my friend. I hope to see you one of these days, but not so soon.

Hello  I met Jim as: HASSE OLA on American_Bob's Front Porch on X and spent many evenings with HASSE on Danny's Spaces
Jim knew me as Alvarezz and we shared many things in common, similar health issues & concerns, a love of God & Family (Including our X Family), Investment strategies, but mostly MUSIC. HASSE had a broad and deep appreciation for many types of music, and because of our shared love of The Allman Brothers Band, both he and I had discussed meeting in Macon Georgia, & visiting the birthplace of Little Richard, seeing the original Capricorn Records building and of course sharing a meal at HandH Soul Food Restaurant that sustained the Allman Bros Band in their early years, as well as touring the Allmand Bros  Band "Big House", ultimately ending in visiting Duane & Gregg Allman Gravesite. We had a kinship that I'll miss especially HASSE 's distinctive laugh/chuckle. Knowing home enriched my life, but I want to leave the following and dedicate the following to my dear X friend:
“It has been said that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken. That we are only truly gone when we disappear from the memories of those who loved us" and given the number of those I know that loved & appreciated Jim aka: HASSE OLA his Memory lives on in our hearts until the day when we join him in eternity. Hasse and I met through Front Porch when I first became involved with Spaces on X. I really enjoyed the southern atmosphere of the space as it allowed me to be myself. For whatever reason, Jim took a liking to me and my feelings were mutual. When I began hosting evening versions in the same vein as Front Porch, Hasse always attended. At first he wasn’t that talkative. I wasn’t sure what the deal was, but then he began to take a mic. Next was co-hosting. I initially offered him co-host spots every space but he was initially reluctant, then he warmed up to the idea and he then had a home at night. Soon I was getting messages from Hasse asking me if I was going to have a space on a certain night. He would tell me ‘if you’ll start one I’ll be there.’ Many nights I was really too tired to have a space but I would schedule one anyway knowing Hasse would be there to keep the conversation going. He was a knowledgeable man with practical experience that I really loved, much more than even my own brothers. My only regret was not knowing him longer. Peace be with you Diane and Jim.

Jim was a friend known to me by Hasseola on X. We connected early on because by our LOVE for Rhineharts, The Masters, southern recipes. and Rasslin among many topics. Hasse helped me and many others host a space called Front Porch(zoom call on Twitter/X) where we virtually rocked in our rockers, drank sweet tea, and talked to our neighbors sharing what is going on where they are. People from all over the world stop by and share from where they live helping us keep up with the world. We believe America started going sideways when air conditioning appeared causing many to stop sitting on their Front Porch to catch the breeze and gradually not knowing their neighbors. 
Hasseola was a favorite on Front Porch and cohosted to help me run the space(zoom call on X). He and I agreed, argued, and laughed through many a space. 2 old farts passing time rocking and talking. He listened to the discussion and chose music either on topic or themed to our discussions that day. He always had a personal story resembling our topics. He called out trolls(trouble makers), was sweet to the ladies(Hasse was always the Ladies favorite), and corrected misinformation. We made a great team running spaces. Along the way he brought the song “Porch Honky” by Moccasin Creek and presented it as possible theme song for Front Porch. We went with it.  
Jim (Hasseola) was a great friend but we only ever interacted in X spaces. We never preplanned anything just winged it every space. For someone I have never in person interracted with his passing has made me very sad. He will definitely be missed. 
Lord please watch over Diane and the family as they mourn Jim’s passing. Help them to remember all the great things Jim did for them and others during his life. Assure them that Jim is with you in Heaven and is fully healed and waiting for them. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

Diane and Jim, I met Hasse on X bout a year ago through Front Porch.

I’m from Illinois Diane, and Hasse told me you were as well.  Princeton area, I know it well, good farm folks.  As I said before, I felt a real kinship with Hasse in that he reminded me very much of my Dad. He was a rare find in today’s world, old school thinker, that always kept it real. He was also more than willing to help anyone with any need, he possessed great knowledge on many fronts.

A man that gave his heart to others in too many ways to say.  His  wisdom and advice, along with that sweet chuckle, will never be forgotten.   God bless.
