Jewell Dean Harper

Miss Jewell Dean Harper, age 78 of Forest Park, Georgia passed away December 30, 2016. She was born in Crandall, Georgia to the late Howard Taft and Eula Lee Green Harper. She was preceded in death by a sister in law, Linda Harper and by brothers in law, Glen Woody and Ted Lewis. Jewell was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Forest Park. She worked many years for Pathway Bookstore and enjoyed painting and reading. Survivors include siblings, Bobbie Woody of Hampton, Faye (Bob) Ramsey of Covington, Lewis (Janet) Harper of Mentor, OH, Max Harper of Athens, TN, Glynnell (Jim) Hurd of McDonough, James Harper of Forest Park and Terry (Lesa) Harper of Hampton; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 – 2:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Contributions are asked to be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in memory of Jewell.
