I was so sadden to hear about Jeff, and glad that this is still up on the internet , I wanted to also express my heart felt feelings of Jeff departing all of us.. he was such a wonderful Coworker supervisor they Atlanta Nabisco plant and other names of this plant was lucky too have Jeff, I love his since of humor and we  shared our family stories … for now you memory  will live down here and we will see you  in eternity were God is preparing our new home.

I was truly saddened to hear of Jeff's passing I am off sick but heard from a co worker Jeff was a truly good man in the 23 yrs I have known him he was always the same never too busy to help those in need Heaven is a better place with Jeff's presence the world needs more Jeff's in it


Jeff was so mild mannered and kind to all. I have the fondest memories of his gentle but humorous spirit at family gatherings. I was so happy when he and Bonita were married and then thrilled to be there the night Lauren was born. He was such a good and caring father, husband and son and I can’t imagine the heartache this sweet family is going through.  My deepest condolences to the family and prayers for comfort and strength Jeff, it was a pleasure to know and love you... and to see your big sweet smile. Nancy

Jeff was a kind and understanding person and a great supervisor to work with. He was a straight forward type of person with a great sense of humor. He was  always there  to lend a helping hand. He gave me travel advice on my trip to Cancun and told me what to do when I got sick after coming back from  Cancun. He was one of my Supervisors in Quality at MDLZ for 8 years and he will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know your heart's are broken but, remember he will always been with you in your heart. Hold strong to those precious memories until you meet again. Praying for you all.

Erica Barnes- I had the pleasure of worker with Jeff for over 25 years. Jeff was a very nice man. He will truly be missed.

I am so sad to hear of your passing. I remember you so well passing out our store credits at the job. You were a nice guy all the time you are so missed. RIP.

I worked with Jeff all those years at Nabisco he was such a good friend to me. Jeff was such a good man.He always tried to help people. I know how much he loved his family because he always talked about them. He will be missed but we all know that he's in a better place and no more pain. I had the pleasure of working with Jeff his entire career at Nabisco. Jeff was one of the kindest easiest going people I have ever worked with. Loved his family and was an incredible person. The QC department and the plant was saddened by his passing. He will be missed as a person and friend. 

To Bonita and her three children and her in-laws I extend my condolences on the passing of Jeff .Jeffrey was a wonderful guy I know you’re gonna miss him. I feel your pain and know what you’re going through but just remember he is at peace now. Josie

All my memories are from my childhood at my granny and paw paws at Christmas and Thanksgiving. Uncle Jeff was always the cut up. God speed uncle Jeff. Another one taken too soon. 

Every year we would get a cabin at Gatlinburg, TN. One evening Jeff left the cabin to go get a game Lauren left in the car, and when he was gone so long I decided to go check on him and then I saw him sitting in the car and I said what’s wrong. He said that a big bear was right behind him when he was getting the game out of the trunk, so he got in the car real quick and was afraid to get out. Vickie to the rescue! Loved those family getaways so much, I’ll cherish those memories forever.

There was one thing about Jeff that always stuck with me. He was exactly the same person every time I saw him. He didn't change when he was around certain people. He didn't let us kids, or life's twists and turns shake him. He was always strong, calm, true, with a smile on his face. That's what I remember, strong, calm, and true, with a smile on his face.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Bonita, children, Lauren (Dylan) Carroll of McDonough, Jonathan (Briana) Popham of Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Tony (Christina) Popham of Barnesville, Georgia. Four grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Leah and Nathan Popham. Jeff is also survived by his mother, Doris (Joel) Lewis Heaton of McDonough, Georgia, a brother, Mark Lewis of Cartersville, Georgia and a sister-in-law, Barbara Lewis of North Carolina.
