Florence Marie Smith, age 83, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of Lockport, NY passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. She was born in St. John's, on Newfoundland Island, Canada on November 26, 1939 to the late Robert and Margaret Puddicombe. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Wayne Russell Smith. Florence loved spending time with her family and she enjoyed playing Bingo. She is survived by her children, Louis (Gail) Smith of Wilmington, NC, Cavel (Tom) Bergen of McDonough, GA, Peggy (Steve) Whalen of Lockport, NY and Richard (Teri) Smith of Sugar Hill, GA. She also has eight grandchildren, Shari (Brian) Berg, Kalan (Jeremy) Adams, Luke (Emily) Smith, Patrik (Shannon) Whalen, Sheila (Brian) Whalen, Jessica (Zach) Green, Leah (Eric) Smith and Travis (Elise) Bergen and twelve great grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
