Emma Elizabeth "Liz" Beavers, age 86, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia on March 22, 1935 to the late Aaron and Minnie Lee Herndon. Liz was also preceded in death by her three sons, Durall, Edward and Eugene Beavers. She was an avid bowler at Forest Park Lanes and she liked to visit Panama City Beach. Liz was a member of the Assembly of God Tabernacle for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 66 1/2 years, Thomas Beavers, children Donna Wilson of Oxford, GA, Rebecca Hutchins of Stockbridge and Patricia Crawley of Stockbridge, GA. Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Monday. Burial will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Georgia.
