Debra "Debbie" Smith

Debra "Debbie" Smith, age 63, of Griffin, Georgia passed away May 4, 2023. She was born March 25, 1960 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Frank and Hazel Shores Reichert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edward Smith and by a sister, Marilyn Reichert. Debbie was a graduate of Jonesboro High School, Class of 1978. She loved spending time with her family, doting on her grandchildren, going camping and trips to the beach. She had a healthy collection of flip-flops which she wore everyday. Debbie had a soft place in her heart for her Jack Russell, Hud. Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Jason (April) Smith of Mansfield and Jeff (Anna) Smith of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Hannah, Madelyn, Preston, Stryker, Hunter and Bella; siblings, Michael (Anita) Reichert of Locust Grove, Margie (Steve) Crane of Zebulon and Gail Bradley of Jackson; fiance, Chuck Lane of Griffin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 - 2:00 pm in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
