Michelle loved her family and friends and spending time with them. She lovingly created crafts and trinkets to gift them over the years, many of which she created while living with her sister Regenia. She had a love for music, whether going to see some of her favorite bands with her family and friends or having impromptu dance parties with her great nieces and nephews when they visited. Her greatest love was brought on by her daughter Taylor, they shared a passion for all things sports but especially softball as they spent the bulk of Taylor’s life going from practices, ball fields, to tournaments all over. Michelle cheered on her daughter for every game and was her biggest fan. While living with her sister in Virginia she helped tend to the garden and chickens, and enjoyed making jams and other canned foods which they always shared with family and friends…especially the pickles.
Michelle worked as an Assistant Manager at Dent 1st for many years and her co-workers became like family to her, and they enjoyed going on trips and to events together. She always loved sharing funny stories of the office and all their shenanigans. Michelle loved their costume parties and pumpkin contests, especially when she won. After Michelle moved to Virginia she finished her final years at Ace Hardware, and became friends with many people there. She had regulars who dotted on her and always checked in on her.
