Carol Faye Bloodworth, age 80, of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 4, 2022. She was born January 5, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Henry Daniel Jenkins, Jr. and Virginia Bailey Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Thomas David Bloodworth, her son, Duryl Steven Bloodworth and by adopted daughters, Cathy Kemp and Susan Studle. She was a graduate of O'Keefe High School, Class of 1960. Carol was a member of the Hampton First Baptist Church, where she was in the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was an advocate for people with special needs, was on the committee of the Hampton Senior Center and a member of the WMU. She was a caretaker for everyone she encountered, including her family, whom she loved dearly. Carol was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and going out to eat with her family and friends. Survivors include her brother, Danny (Jane) Jenkins; nephews, Alan Bowdie (Andrea) Jenkins and Stuart Lane (fiance,Charity Wright) Jenkins; great nephews, Riley, Jarrett, Blaine and Jacob Jenkins; adopted family, Charles (Debbie) Studle and their family, Ryan, Whitney, Aubrey and Tanner, Blake (Ashley) Studle and their family, Tyler, Ashton and Daniel, Cindy Smith and her family, Amber (Norman) Langford and Cole Wheeles, Doug Garrett, Chris Studle and Mike Studle. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022 - 1:00 pm in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family Tuesday 11:00 am until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Hampton First Baptist Church Building Fund or The Gideon's International in memory of Carol.
