Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Rainey, age 83, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 8, 1938 to the late John Yates and Katherine Derrick. Bobbie was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ben Rainey. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, camping and boating and skiing on Lake Oconee. She is survived by her children, Robert (June) Rainey of Griffin, Janet (Paul) Blair of McDonough and Denise (Scott) Pelley of McDonough. Eight grandchildren, Kristi (Jonathan) Lancaster, Adam (Carley) Rainey, Ryan Blair, Daniel Hagler, Brian (Katie) Rainey, Samantha (Jarvis) Jones, Rebekah Blair, Thomas Blair and Drake Pelley. Great grandchildren, Addyson, Ansley, Rosalyn, Camilla, Connor, Eisley, Eli, Collins, Luna and Stella. Aunt Maryellen Ambrose of McDonough and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. Burial will follow at Berea Cemetery in Hampton Georgia.
