Mrs. Annie Marie Mills, age 87 of Jackson, Georgia passed away March 16, 2015. She was born in Westmoreland, TN to the late Cless and Elsie Hoskins Summers. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Derow Mills in 1985; a son, David Lee Mills; brothers, Raymond, Fred, Roy, Everett “Jam Up”, Jim and Herb Summers. Marie, also known as MawMaw, enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Survivors include her children, Patricia Mills of Jackson, Bobby Gene Mills of McDonough, Ronald (Peggy) Mills of Jackson, Betty Jean (Daryl) Anderson of Hampton and Johnny Lee Mills of Jackson; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Ally May Graves, Donald Summers and William Summers, All of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park at 1:00 pm.
