Jerry was born on September 30, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Theresa (Mucci) Tomaso. He graduated from Collinwood High School and went on to own and operate several successful businesses over the years, with a particular focus on the beauty industry, where he was most notable as a hairdresser and salon owner. A proud Marine, Jerry served his country, upholding the values of duty, honor, and service that he carried with him throughout his life. His commitment to his country was matched only by his unwavering devotion to his family. Jerry is survived by wife, Andrea (nee Delzoppo), with whom he shared 49 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Jerry was the proud father of his two children, his son Andrew (Carly) Tomaso and his daughter Theresa (Tex) Melotti. Jerry adored his three grandkids Vincenzo Gerald Tomaso, Alessandro (Alex) Lawrence Melotti and Giuliana Maria Melotti. Jerry also leaves behind his beloved sister, Linda (Michael, deceased ) DeGirolamo, along with his caring sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mike and Jeanne Trivisonno. He was a devoted uncle, great-uncle and cousin. Jerry was a true friend to many, known for his generosity, sense of humor, and his ability to make those around him feel valued. His warmth, kindness, and wisdom will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A church service will be held at Holy Rosary Church in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday December 16, 2024 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
