SCHWARZ, Helen- of Massapequa Park on May 7 2016. Loving wife of George (deceased) for 49 years. Beloved Mother of Suzanne (Daniel) and Kerrin. Cherished Grandmother to Nicholas, Michael (Lauren), Robert (Laura), Kathryn, and Daniel. Adored Great grandmother to Justin. Loving sister of Mary and Peter. Helen was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, and her pets Brandy, Sandy, and Sheba. Helen was very involved in community service. She was involved with St. Rose craft and bereavement clubs, Parkside nursing group, Mercy hospital, and Massapequa Cares. She was a woman of great faith who believed in the power of prayer. Helen loved her family and they loved her back.

~ Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, ~ 855 Carmen's Road, Massapequa Park, NY 11762 ~ Interment to follow to Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735 ~
