Age 59, died October 22, 2012; born December 4, 1952 in River Rouge, Michigan to Booker Terry and Geraldine (Lowery) Fobbs. Terry was employed by the State of Michigan as a Senior Executive and as an instructor with Colorado Technical Institute. He received his PhD from Capella University in 2011, was a retired Colonel with the US Army Reserve and the current Commander of the American Legion Browne-Cavender Post #148 of Mason. He was active in the Reserve Officer Association and the Employer Support of Guard and Reserve. Terry was a member of the Military Officers Association of America, Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem (Knights Templar), and also involved as a speaker guest lecturer in many other groups and veterans organizations. Terry was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Holt, MI. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother John Fobbs, sister-in-law Donna Fobbs, sister-in-law Marcia Fobbs, and brother-in-law Anthony Zentarski. Terry is survived by his loving wife LeAnn Fobbs and his children Carl (Melissa) Wollet, Danielle Wollet, Abigail Wollet, Sondra (Rory) Hines, Tamara (Mike) Daguanno, and Natalie (Adam) Baczkiewicz; 8 grandchildren, Mercedes and Spencer Wollet, Phoenix and Jadyn Peasley, Jamison Pull, Adriana Daguanno, Autumn Baczkiewicz, his mother, Geraldine of Detroit; brothers Kevin (Karen) Fobbs, Evin Fobbs; sisters Cheryl Fobbs-Lewis (Tim Lewis), Angela Zentarski, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 431 E. Saginaw, East Lansing, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI.
