Marianne is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Phil Morris; son, Brian; daughter, Melissa (Graham); two grandchildren, Gavin and Mason; mother, Gertrude; five brothers, Paul (Nancy) Esper, Doug (Sally) Emmons, Jim Emmons, Bill (Rae) Emmons, and Mark Emmons; and three sisters, Sue (Ed) Burgess, Karen (Dale) Conroy, and Julie Emmons. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter.
Marianne and Phil spent 40 beautiful years together making memories. Together, they enjoyed hiking, biking, fishing, bird-watching, and being on the pontoon. Marianne loved nature and all that the outdoors had to offer. She loved the ocean and crashing on the shore to watch the sunset. She enjoyed baking just as much as people enjoyed her baking. She had a strong devotion to her Catholic faith and she loved spending time with her grandkids. She will be missed and her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Marianne will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 South Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854. A funeral mass will occur on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Cornelius & Cyprian Parish, 1320 Catholic Church Rd., Bunker Hill Twp., MI 49251.
