Lawrence "Larry" R. Dunn

He was born in Lansing, MI on June 19, 1932 to Raymond and Nettie (Tyler) Dunn. He was a custodian for the Lansing Public Schools for 33 years. Larry was active for many years at the Sam Corey Senior Center, and enjoyed taking bus trips with the center. He enjoyed music jams, and played the piano at many.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joyce; his special stepdaughter, Sue (Jon) VanDouser; his stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their thanks to Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness, as well as a special thanks to Marge Ott, Bonnie and Al Cleves, Joyce Young, and the special neighbors who helped support them through this time.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00am at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Mason Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm, and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.

Memorial contributions in honor of Larry may be made to the Ingham County Animal Shelter, 600 Curtis Rd., Mason, MI 48854.
