David Vasquez Garcia

He was born to Celestino and Dolores Garcia on March 22, 1961. In 1981, he started his career at General Motors and was a proud UAW Local 602 member until his retirement in 2012.

David loved spending time with his grandchildren, Carter and Maya. He doted on them and made grandpa time so special and magical. David was a thrill seeker and had a love for traveling, with a special place in his heart for Hawaii. He also was a fierce protector and caretaker to his beloved parents. He was an incredibly proud father. He told everyone who would listen to him about the wonderful things his daughters were doing with their lives.

He is preceded in death by his grandsons, Logan, Brody and Wyatt Peek. His brother, Steven Garcia and his father Celestino Garcia.

David is survived by his daughters, Courtney (Jason) Peek and Noel (Zak) Higel. Two grandchildren, Carter and Maya Peek. His mother, Dolores Garcia. Two sisters, Dora (Duane) Doe and Diane Garcia and several nieces and nephews and friends.
