Coe Francis Emens II was born in Dearborn, MI on April 3, 1945 to the late Coe Francis and Fern Lorraine (Smalley) Emens I, and passed away March 6, 2016 at the age of 70. Coe graduated from Mason High School in 1963 where he was very active in FFA and 4-H. Later he attended LCC and earned an Associate Degree. Coe later graduated from MSU’s Short Course in Agriculture. He was a member and past president of the Michigan Steam Engine & Threshers Club. Coe was also a member of Grand Lodge #70 Free and Accepted Masons. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jody Lynn Emens. Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jeanne (Recher) Emens; son, Coe (Stella) Emens III, daughter, Dana (Shane) Carl; 2 sisters, Mary Wilson and Judith (Larry) Silsby; grandchildren, Coe IV, Gerry, Teagan, and Trent. Coe will be especially remembered for his “big heart”, his generosity to all and for being a “father” to many. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 720 W. South St., Mason, MI. On Thursday, March 10, 2016 the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI. Rev.
