Nancy Adell Marriott

Nancy Adell Marriott, age 80, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, December 6th, 2024. She was born July 13, 1944 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. to parents Donna M .and Robert W. Brown. Her father unfortunately perished in a fatal car crash when she was an infant, so she and her 2 brothers were raised by their mother until she met and married Herb Arnold, a wonderful man and father.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School in 1962, then received her degree from Robert Morris Jr. College in PA. She married Kelsey Marriott Sr. in 1968 and they moved to Washington state where they started a family. Nancy opened her business, Image IV in 1986 which she successfully operated until moving to CA in 1990. There she did administrative work for Boeing on the C17 which she enjoyed and made many friends. She was involved in her church and loved singing in the choir. Her favorite past time was going on cruises, she loved cruising with her many friends. She retired and moved back to Marysville in 2016 to be near her kids and grandchildren. Many wonderful memories were made in the last 8 years at home with her family and friends. Nancy will be remembered as a selfless mother, grandma and great-grandma who always had a smile, even when times were tough. She was fiercely independent with a quiet strength and never complained, even while battling cancer until her passing. She loved every moment of life all the way up until her Lord Jesus Christ called her home.

Nancy is survived by her brothers Gary Brown (Elaine) and Douglas (Charlie) Brown (Sharon) son Kelsey Marriott Jr. and daughter-in-law Alicia, daughter April Watson and son-in-law Robert, grandchildren Alyssa Woods, Taylor Bream and Kiley Marriott, and great granddaughters Claire, Carly and Revival, many nieces and great nieces and many long-time friends that were like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Kelsey Sr., and half-sister.

You will be deeply missed, forever loved and forever remembered.

A celebration of life will be held later in the Spring.
