Tamara (Tami) Carter Stone of Martinsville, died at her home, Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born in Martinsville, VA, January 5, 1963 to the late Billy Clay Carter and Gloria Travis Keen of Axton.
In addition to her mother, Tami is survived by her husband, Scott Stone; step-father, David Keen; brothers, Danny Motley and Tony Keen; sisters, Marcia Collins and Heidi Hodges; beloved nieces and nephews and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James C. Stone, Sr. and Cevera M. Stone.
Tami was a loving and devoted wife to Scott. Her family and friends meant everything to her. She had a tremendous love for her “furbabies” and was a faithful Fido’s Finds volunteer. Always the first to rally for the needs of any animal, Tami truly possessed a beautiful and giving spirit.
All who loved Tami are welcome to join the family and friends in a celebration of her life at Chatmoss Country Club, Thursday, September 6th from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the MHCSPCA, 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.
Arrangements are by McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville.
