Susan Marie Hensley

Susan Marie Hensley, 91 of Ridgeway, Va. passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born December 19, 1929 to Alexander B. Smith and Leona Bell Lightsey Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryant Hensley; sons Dana Bryant Hensley (Jeep-Dana) and Gary Alexander; grandson Richard Hensley. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Greg) Walker; son Michael Hensley; daughter-in-law Lynn (Jeep Dana) Hensley; eleven grandchildren and 10 great A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Horsepasture Christian Church and will be officiated by Minister Dave Cuthbertson. A visitation will be held inside the church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital and Trellis Supportive Care Foundation, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103 or to Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
