Joseph Melvin Odell

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Fisher Odell; daughter, Elizabeth Higgins; sisters, Lucy Stone and Frances Alcorn; brothers, Ernest, and Roy Odell.

He is survived by his daughters, Julie Bullins Moore (Doug) and Sandra E. Bullins; 2 grandchildren, Anne H. Howerton and A. Katelynn Higgins; 1 great grandchild, Dominic J. Collison and 1 brother, Charlie Odell.

Joseph was a retired truck driver and member of the Masons and the Moose Lodge of Eden N.C.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at McKee-Stone funeral home with Pastor Tim Gearheart officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the Shriners Crippled Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.
