 Obituario de Frederick Venable Woodson Jr.
Frederick V. Woodson, Jr., 92, of Martinsville, Va. passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born in Martinsville August 7, 1930 to Henry Drewry Lewis Woodson and Fred V. Woodson, Sr., who was a former mayor of Martinsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Reamy Smith Woodson; and his daughter, Sallie Pannill Woodson Hall. Mr. Woodson is survived by his son-in-law, Richard Hall; grandchildren, Drewry Woodson Hall and Virginia Madison Hall. Mr. Woodson served his country in the U.S. Army and retired as a sales representative for Carolina Container after 25 years of service. He was a very devoted member to Christ Episcopal Church and was a member of the Martinsville Kiwanis Club. The family requests that in Lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Josh Neuman Foundation, 11820 Pine Valley Club Dr., Charlotte NC. 28277 A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Oakwood Cemetery and will be officiated by the Reverend John Adams and the Reverend Russell Ingersoll. A reception will follow at the Christ Episcopal Church Parrish House and all are welcome Arrangements are by McKee-Stone Funeral Home-Martinsville, VA
