Thomas William Turner, VII, 77 of Martinsburg, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Born on May 12, 1945 in Berkeley County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Margaret (Fern) Turner.
After earning an Associate Degree, Thomas worked several years as a Facilities Engineer for Martin Marietta, Mack Trucks, and Corning Inc. He then went to work for Shockey Corporation, retiring as an Architectural Engineer.
Thomas was a kind, generous, and gentle man who enjoyed building beautiful birdhouses, as well as spending time with his family and many friends. He was loved by all who knew him, and truly will be forever missed.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Jo Turner; son, Jeremy Turner; daughter-in-law, Cathy Turner; brother, Frank “Sonny” Turner; sister-in-law, Barbara Norris; and beloved dog, Annie.
There will be no services scheduled at this time.
