Sarah A. Edwards

She was born to the Reverend Alex J. Webb (Feb. 11, 1909 – Jan. 18, 2000) and Nora Swiney Webb (May 19, 1911 – Mar. 23, 1998) in Praise (now Elkhorn) Kentucky.

She married Arthur Adam Edwards on November 3, 1951 and lived in Middle River, Maryland for the rest of her life. They had no children.

She belonged to Middle River Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a homemaker and loved bowling, gardening, singing, sewing, and all of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (Jan. 7, 1929 – Jan. 1, 2019); sister, Mary Magdeline Marburger; brothers: Denver Lee Webb, Billy Franklin Webb, Charles Ray Webb, and Gary Dennis (Elkins) Webb.

Surviving are Janna Edwards Colledge (Grant), Randy Edwards (Dona), Janene Edwards Cullen (Ken), Jancie Edwards Dschaak (Bruce), Jeff Edwards (Ella), Wade Edwards (Kathy), Allan Edwards, Vince Edwards (Kristen), Sharon Hall Blount (Gary), Debbie Hall Fouble (Ernie), Robert Hall (Christina), and 28 great nieces and nephews. Sarah was the kindest, sweetest, nicest person you would ever meet. We will miss her greatly.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 11am until the time of the funeral service at noon at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
