Born May 7, 1932 in Paw Paw, WV, he was the son of the late Noah Kidwell and Emma Fishel Kidwell.
Joe served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Martinsburg Moose 120, VFW, and Redman’s Club of Williamsport. Joe enjoyed fixing lawn mowers. He retired from Erath Venre.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Virginia Kidwell; one daughter, Lou Ann Kidwell; brother, James Kidwell, and sister Ann Allen.
Joe is survived by two sons, Cary L. Kidwell and wife Karen, and Terry L. Kidwell and wife Kellye; two daughters, Gail Diana Snyder and Kimberly Kay Spinks; four sisters, Betty Rogers, Evelyn Jones, Kathryn Sweeney, and Ruby Miller; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm.at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 2pm at Rosedale Funeral Home with Pastor Lowell McDonald officiating.
Interment will follow at Paynes Chapel Cemetery with military graveside rites.
