Born July 6, 1929 in Moorefield, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maude Hedrick.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Hedricks; one daughter, Donna James; and two sons, Brian Scott and Michael Hedrick.
Joseph will be sadly missed by his two sons, Oland and Robert Hedrick; one brother, Murry Hedrick; two sisters, Jeanette Keysucker and Mary Alice Dugan; six grandchildren, Michael Hedrick, Lindsay Reese, Steve Hedrick, Roxie Hedrick, April James, L.J. James; and four great grandchildren, Dadison Reese, Chance Reese, Clayton Hedrick, and Jasmine James.
Friends may call Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 9am to 11am at Rosedale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 11am.
Interment will immediately follow at Rosedale Cemetery with Military Rites.
