Born April 1, 1941 in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Robert R. Renner and Mary Jane Yost Renner.
Howard is survived by his wife, Vicki Renner of 47 years and together for 52 years; brothers: Arthur Renner, Charlie Renner and wife Brenda, Robert (Robbie) Renner and wife Melissa; sisters: Nancy Schull and husband Richard and Mary Ann Shepherd; along with many nieces and nephews; pets: Rusty and Toby.
He is preceded in death by brothers: Gene Linaberg and Robert (Coby) F. Renner; and pets Sandy and Gabby.
Howards was an honorable member of the Air National Guard and as a reserve of the Air Force. He retired after driving a fuel tractor trailer for many years with AC and T and H.O. Anderson Oil Co. He was a lifetime member of the Blue Ridge Boot Kickers and a previous member of the Hagerstown Country Western Dance Association and the Cumberland Valley Country Western Dance Association. He enjoyed many years of dancing, and competition dancing in St. Louis and especially making new long lasting relationships of the years through the organizations.
Howard had the biggest heart for his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Howard’s name, to the Berkeley County Humane Society and Dakotas Dream Animal Rescue in Winchester, VA.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 13th at 5 pm, at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Friends and family will gather following the funeral service, from 6-8 pm.
