He was born in New Britain, Connecticut to Joseph Lucien and Helene (Hebert) LaBrie.
He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 21 during his employment at American Hardware in New Britain, Connecticut.
After his release from the Navy, he returned to work at American Hardware where he met his future bride Carline Dumond of Lewiston, Maine.
His career led him to work for General Motors in 1974. Following his job from Connecticut, Maryland and West Virginia where he retired after 30 plus years.
Preceded by his parents, Joseph Lucien and Helene LaBrie, son Jessey S LaBrie, brother Ronald LaBrie, sisters, Elaine Senical, Carole Angers, Diane LaBrie, Nancy Meo, and Jeannette Bouchard.
Dennis is survived by his wife Carline of 56 years.
He leaves behind his Daughter, Charlette Burleson of Florida, Sons, Jeffrey LaBrie of West Virginia and Dennis LaBrie of Florida. Sisters, LauraLee LaBrie of Texas and Darlene Sousa of New Hampshire.
Grandchildren Chelsea Oliver, Jonathan Farr-LaBrie, Savannah and Hannah LaBrie and also 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
In his early years, Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing. His love of music and singing led him to being self taught in playing the guitar and enjoyed entertaining everyone. Family and friends would welcome him to any party.
Every family gathering was never complete without Mom and his siblings sitting around breaking out the guitars and singing their favorite songs, while the kid cousins would run around and entertain one another. He had a contagious laughter and an array of jokes.
Going to "The Club" meant he was itching to play poker, have a few beers and entertain the boys with his repertoire of songs.

Dennis will be laid to rest at Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia.
A celebration of life will happen in several weeks and be announced accordingly…
