Mr. William “Bill” Sherman DeVore, 66, of Martinez, Georgia entered in rest Monday, September 16, 2013. He was a member of West Acres Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. Bill was a well-known hairstylist and taxidermist in the area for over 40 years.
Mr. DeVore is survived by his loving wife, Barbara DeVore; four children, Guy (Karen) DeVore, Scott DeVore, Josh (Destine) DeVore and Kelli “Jody” DeVore; brother, Roger and Margaret DeVore; sister, Janis DeVore; five grandchildren, Garrett, Brock, Bentley, Cody and Beau DeVore.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 – 8 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road.
Funeral Services will be held 3 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating.
