Wah Yee Chan, age 88, of Martinez, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Wah Yee was born in China and later moved to Curacao. Then, she migrated to the United States, to live the rest of her life with her son and family.
Wah Yee was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially her great-grandchildren.
Wah Yee is preceded in death by her husband On Man Cheang. She is survived by her son, Chi Ping Cheang and his wife Lai Fong, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grands; and brother, Sek Chan of Augusta. She will be missed dearly.
A visitation for Wahyee will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez, Georgia 30907. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez, Georgia 30907. A burial will occur following the service at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30904.
