Martha Butler Dinkins, of Hephzibah, age 82, passed peacefully on September 13, 2022. She was surrounded by family and friends.
After retiring from McDonald Douglas in California, she returned home to Georgia. Martha was a talented home decorator, as well as, an avid gardener.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gordon Dinkins. Martha was also preceded in death by her son Mike Dinkins and her granddaughter, Alex Holiday.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn (Barry) Wolford, Debbie (Johnny) Hobbs and four sons, Roy “Butch” Dinkins, Eddie (Terrie) Dinkins, Dale (Alison) Dinkins and Chris (Andrea) Dinkins. She is also survived by two brothers, Jimmy (Norma) Butler, Walter (Shirley) Butler, and her sister Kathy Butler Rodriguez-Feo. She is survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held by her family.
