Ms. Jennings was born to the late Robert and Dauzie Jennings in Augusta, GA. She was a 1967 graduate of Evans High School. Later in life, she retired from Kimberly Clark. Ms. Jennings was dedicated to caring for her family, especially her mother, nieces and nephews. She was an avid animal lover and adored horses, dogs and birds.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Young, Robert Jennings III, Thomas Ray Jennings, Peggy Joyce Reid, and Alvin Roney Young. Survivors include her siblings, Pete Wells, Otis Jennings, George Young, Virgil Jennings, Gerald Jennings; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 21 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
