Hon Hui

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Hon Hui, who left us on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at the age of 71. Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments, he was a man of humor, wisdom, and a pillar of strength to those that knew him.

His resilience knew no boundaries and in every aspect of our lives, he made the impossible possible. Some may describe Hon to be a “cyborg” or superhero because of his tenacious behavior. When faced with challenges, he always showed strong willpower and never gave up even in his hardest moments. Against all odds, he showed us that he, in fact, was still holding on to be with us awhile longer despite the pain he may have endured. Additionally, Hon was a generous and dependable man that was always going above and beyond for everyone. No person could tell him anything to change his mind when his heart was set on helping someone. Hon was a force to be reckoned with, but like any superhero, there was his kryptonite. Hon was an avid food connoisseur and enjoyed the sweeter things in life with a cold beer. The simpler things in life was all he really needed.

Hon is survived by his wife Xi, his four children, Sally, Linda, Ming, and Nancy along with three grandchildren, Berry, Sammy, and Atlas. His legacy lives on in us through the values and beliefs he instilled in us. To our precious father, we love you daddy and hope you had a safe journey. Please watch over us and guide us through our endeavors as you always had. When it is time, we know you’ll be the first person waiting for us until we are all together again.
