Thomas Wesley Olivier, Sr.

Thomas Wesley Olivier, Sr. of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the age of 93. Wesley was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Philip Olivier, Sr. and Marie Nicolle Olivier. He was married to the late Eula Olivier. Devoted father of Phylis Doucet (Rickie Sr.), Thomas Olivier, Jr., and William Olivier (Wanda). Loving grandfather of Dawn Pritchett, Rickie Doucet Jr., Mindy Bear, Amanda Jones, Leo Olivier, Michael Olivier, Nicole Tombs, Thomas Olivier III, and the late Shane Olivier and the late Mary Ann Olivier. Wesley is the great grandfather of 12 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Philip Olivier, Jr., Lloyd Olivier, Harold Olivier, and May Landry. Wesley is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, November 17, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2023 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home. The visitation will continue on Friday morning beginning at 8:00AM until the Mass time. Wesley will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Raceland, Louisiana.
