Robert C. Foley

Robert “Uncle Buddy” C. Foley entered peacefully into heaven on Thursday, September 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his longtime companion Phyllis Griffin of 23 years. Son of the late Henry Foley and Spencenia Talton. Brother of Evans Foley, Gloria Duplessis, Inez Coldwell, and preceded in death by Clara Walker, Lucas Foley, John Foley, Marylena Foley, Vera Baldwin, Ernestine Sims, Henry Foley, Jr., Maryruth Sullen, Walter Foley, Johnny Foley and Ernest Foley. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. “Uncle Buddy” retired as a heavy equipment driver in Tennessee and moved back home in Marrero, Louisiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, he loved the outdoors, worked with his hands building items, loved his man cave (The Shed) and mostly spending time with his family and friends. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA 70072 on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am.
