Reshanda Ann Hughes

Reshanda Ann Hughes of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the age of 48. She was born in Marrero, Louisiana to Robert and Darlene Hughes. Loving wife of Teddy A. McGuire III for 32 years. Devoted mother of Trey A. McGuire and Alyssa N. McGuire. Sister of Janell Hughes (Langford), Brent Weaver, the late Brandie Hughes, and the late Robert Hughes. Godmother of Zeek Langford and Lexie Tabor. Goddaughter of Barbara Cadiera/Beechie. Reshanda is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that will miss her dearly.

Reshanda was a faithful woman who enjoyed going to church and her church family. She loved her cats dearly. Reshanda enjoyed gardening, watching the Saints games, and talking about her children that she loved with all of her heart. Reshanda always welcomed everyone she met with open and loving arms. Reshanda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 3:00PM and continue until the service time.
