Penny Ann Rojas entered peacefully into heaven on Friday, September 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving mother Mary McEvers and the late Ronald Rojas, Sr. Sister of Rhonda Rojas and Ronald Rojas, Jr. (Pattilynn). A proud aunt of Layna Forbes and Kassilynn Rojas. She is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles and friends.
A native of Algiers, LA and a lifelong resident of Barataria, LA. Penny owned and operated a Child Day Care in Barataria for over 35 years. She has taken care of at least three generations of families. She was a person who was determined, loved to cook, travel, Disney especially Mickey Mouse, crafting, attending church and mostly spending time with her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am. Internment following in St. Pius Mausoleum in Crown Point, LA.
