Merriely Ann Bladsacker, age 82, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Walter and Emily Michel. Merriely was married to Charles I. Bladsacker for 63 loving years. Devoted mother of Karen A. Stevens. Proud Maw Maw of Danielle Hayden (Jonathan Martinez) and Shane Stevens (Madalynn McFatter). Great grandmother of Mia and Ava Trondsen and Aria McFatter. Sister of Nancy Michel and the late John "Skipper" Michel. Merriely leaves behind Michelle Dupre and Bryley Dupre, who she treated like her own daughter and granddaughter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 12th, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Merriely will be laid to rest at Westwego Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana.
