Mary Jane Daigle Hernandez

Mary Jane Daigle Hernandez, age 82, of Paradis, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Mary was born March 27, 1939 to the late Alexander and Atesia Daigle. She was married to the late Pollis Hernandez, Sr. for 28 years before he passed away in 1994. Devoted mother of Pollis Hernandez, Jr., Christopher Hernandez (Ranel), Christine Hernandez, and Morty Hernandez. Maw Maw of Desiree Hernandez, Corey Hernandez, Reed Hernandez, Mallory Romero, Logan Hernandez, Ryan Christopher Hernandez, Chloe Hernandez, Grace Hernandez, Terrel Gisclair, Tamara Gisclair, Marty Hernandez, the late Tate Gisclair, and the late Ryan Hernandez. She was also a great grandmother to numerous great grandchildren. Sister of Hazel Hale-Fancher, and the late Diane O’Connor, Gloria Moreau, and Alexander Daigle, Jr. Mary is also survived my many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who are left to cherish her memory.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 4th, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 15405 Highway 90 in Paradis, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche, Louisiana.
