Mamie M Palermo

Mamie Mandina Palermo, born February 22, 1918 died May 14, 2013- devoted wife of the late Emile John Palermo, mother of Ann Palermo Beaucoudray (Raymond), the late Ciro Anthony Palermo (Bonnie) and Josephine (Josie) Palermo. Mamie is also survived by grandchildren, Troy M. Beaucoudray (Critty), Michelle B. Montagnino (Ross), Gena P. Curtis (Harold) and Christopher A. Palermo (Tasha).; her great grand children, Vincent, Hailey, Lauren, Emma, Zoie, C.J., Glen and Whitley and her great, great granddaughter, Zariah. Mamie was the daughter of the late Tom Mandina and Laura Saluto Mandina and the sister of the late Paul, Conrad, Louise, Tony, Roy, Francis, Jasper, and Mary Ann. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Mamie and Emile were devoted longtime parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and loved all associated with the church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Ames Blvd., Marrero at 12:00 PM, with visitation at the church prior to the mass. The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care given our mother and grandmother by her son-in-law Raymond during her stay at his home. The family also wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care given our mother and grandmother during her illness by Nicole and Linda from Egan Home Health Care and Hospice.
