Linvel Ralston “Lynn” “L.R.” Holland Jr. passed away at home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 80. He retired from McDermott, Global Industries, and Holland Tire and Service Center. He was known as “Grandpa Fly” or “G.P.” to all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He regularly supported many charities. He enjoyed eating well, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family.
He is survived by four daughters, Cynthia Holland Owens (Chris), Denise Holland, Katherine Robinson (Cam), and Connie Leach (Paul); one son/grandson Chris Holland (Jennileigh); grandchildren and great grandchildren, Steve Pellegrin (Gaby), Christopher Owens Jr., Dr. Jennifer Owens (Adrian), William “Billy” Leach, Dustin Leach, Rebecca Robinson, Alexander Owens, Alora Holland, Quinn Holland, and Ezra Holland; a sister, Ethel Naquin; a sister-in-law, Bobbi Nell Holland; a brother-in-law, Junior Billings; and three ex-wives, Gail Banquer Barrilleaux, Jean Cargill, and Eve Thomas Rametta.
