Linda and her late husband, Elray Hymel, were the proud owners of Ama Grocery, a cherished local landmark where they served the community for over 30 years. Known for their delicious roast beef po-boys, their store became a gathering place and a source of countless fond memories for many in Ama.
Linda had a deep love for spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards throughout her life. An extraordinary cook, she made every holiday special, as each family member eagerly anticipated their favorite dishes lovingly prepared by her.
In her later years, Linda found happiness in trips to Disney and treasured time spent with her grandchildren. She was the devoted mother of four children: Dondi (Angie) Troxler, Jan (Lynda) Troxler, Tanya (Brian) Troxler, and Tab (Jena) Troxler, as well as, two step daughters Shelly Hymel and Ginger Schwartz. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Shawn Troxler, Aaron Troxler, Shane Troxler, lan Troxler, Kelli Troxler, Sydney Troxler, Nicholas Troxler, Adilyn Troxler, and Finn Troxler, as well as the beloved great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren: Lucy Chaisson, Oliver Troxler, Hendrix Troxler, and Archer Troxler.
Linda is also survived by her brothers, Earnest P. Webre, and Bobby Webre and was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Champagne. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Hazel Webre.
She enjoyed her life and the many memories she shared with everyone. It was her wish that those that knew her reflect on all the fond memories through the years. At her request, no service will be held. May she rest in internal peace. The family thanks all for the prayers and well wishes through the years.
