Lance Anthony Lavignette of Houma, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Charles A. Lavignette III and Judy Wingerter Kelley and his step-father, the late Brian G. Kelley. He was married to Bonnie Benoit Lavignette for 14 loving years. Father of Lance Lavignette, Jonathan Lavignette (Autumn), Scott Lavignette, Justin Simoneaux, Jacob Simoneaux, Michael Toups, Matthew Toups (Sheree), Jessica Simoneaux, Vanessa Simoneaux, and Tiffany LeBlanc (Bryan). Proud Paw Paw of Leland and Lyric Massey, Carmen Loveday, Addison Lavignette, Nathan Lavignette, Ashlyn Lavignette, Blakely LeBlanc, Presley LeBlanc, Jonathan Toups, Alexis Bergeron, Cassidy Simoneaux, Madelyn Gamez, Seth Johnson, and Joel Simoneaux, and his great granddaughter Ainsley May. Brother of Dianne Kelley, Charles "Chuck" Lavignette IV (Tracey), the late Donna Ullo (Chris), Mary Ring (Gary), the late Christopher Lavignette, Patricia Anvick (Bob), the late Mary Elizabeth Stewart (the late Ed), the late Sean Kelley, Danny Kelley (Norma), and Brian Kelley II. Lance is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.
Lance was a proud member of the Krewe of Hercules in Houma, Louisiana for the past seven years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 8:30AM and continue until the service time. Lance will be laid to rest following the service at McDonogh Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
