Mr. Kenneth Earl Loerwald

Kenneth Earl Loerwald passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the age of 55 at 4:20 PM at Ochsner Hospital from complications of surgery. He was the beloved husband of Stephanie Creppel Loerwald for the past 29 years and the loving father of Jason Loerwald and his wife Rachelle, Jared Loerwald and his wife Megan and Jonathan Loerwald and his girlfriend Jamie Chauvin. He was the devoted grandfather of Kelsey Loerwald, Kayle Loerwald, Jace Loerwald and Rhett Loerwald. He was the son of Helga M. Loerwald of Gretna, LA and the late John W. “Red” Loerwald and the brother of Ralph Loerwald of Jacksonville, TX and Terry Loerwald and his wife Deanna of Marrero, LA. He was the son-in-law of Gerril “Swole” and Maggie Clement of Marrero, LA. He also leaves behind three nieces, Brandy Foret, Heidi Loerwald and Jenni Loerwald. He is also survived by his beloved pets Brownie and Princess.

Kenny was the proud owner of Tiger Equipment and Supply Company. He loved his family, he loved to fish and he loved his cars. He was a member of the Greater New Orleans Corvette Club and a devoted member of Anytime Fitness.

Relatives and friends of the family, as well as his dedicated customers and vendors are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME. 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at which time a Service will be held in the Chapel.
